I’ve read most of your articles until the Meza incident. Most of the facts and data for a large number of articles were lifted from LRC posts. This is undeniable.

My cousin ran this race and just texted me saying that the City DA has opened an investigation and could be pressing charges of simple assault and sexual battery. Apparently the DA is being pressured by the local media as well as the race organizers.

My cousin and her girlfriends also work for the city of Savannah and think the whole thing was done without sexual intent or malice, and should be chalked up to a "fleeting moment of bad judgement" but to even be considering pressing charges against this playful, loving guy, is ridiculous.

The funny thing is that Derek's sheep are the lynch mob doxxing that guy right now whereas we on LRC are much more moderate and can clearly see that there could be less Derek hate inciting explanations of what really happened or whether it was accidental if there was butt contact which the video does not at all show anywhere like Derek and his lynch mob are parroting.

It's fair when people are making statements to ask them to back up those statements. Earlier in the thread someone commented how I frequently make mistakes, yet they couldn't come up with any examples where I have been wrong about a runner. Now someone is saying that a large amount of my content is lifted from the letsrun boards. It is fair to ask them to quantify that, and to provide examples.

Calling out people that are blaming the reporter is not piling on the guy. Calling out people that say she should be flattered or that she should take it as a compliment is not piling on the guy.
