How can you compare this to crossing US in record time? It's totally different. That runner had to get up everyday and run as long as possible at a fairly quick pace. The clock was ticking. There were no rest days.

This is a 5-6 hour run every other day. 12:00 min/mile. Easy to recover. A full day rest on average between each 26.2 mile runs.

He won't need to cheat. Anyone could do this challenge.

It isn't the actual run that has parallels, it is everything else other than so far nobody has mentioned sausage rolls. I have tried to engage here and got an encouraging reply

He is doing multiple marathon races in the USA, the marathons in this case are specified, oddly not anywhere else.

I'm wondering about the environmental impact of his journey, is he offsetting his carbon footprint at all ? I wonder what this would cost? Maybe he plans to plant 10000 trees ?

You'd be hard pushed to find where to donate to his charity.

How is this in any way an impressive accomplishment worthy of news? Forty years ago Terry Fox ran a marathon a day for almost 150 straight days ON ONE LEG! And if fate did not intervene he would have continued for a couple hundred more days.

He's lied about a lot more times than Paris. I asked him several times about all these false times he claimed and the 314 marathons (where they were) and also why the huge difference in Gofundme versus charity money .

Terry Fox raised - and continues to do so even after death - millions for cancer research. Ran on a prosthesis that is almost medieval by today's standards. Never asked for fame, only to help others:

I got no response when i asked where the 300 plus marathons were done. Message was opened but no rely.
