Islam is not a political system, not anymore than any other religion. It can be used in government, just as a number of religions have been and are used. Some countries intertwine it with their government and one country has religious figures as the supreme legal authority in the state. Those facts are not unique to Islam.

Violent religious zealots don't represent the majority of a religion's adherents. We agree that the Ustase don't represent Christianity as a whole. So then why is it so hard for you to understand that the Taliban don't represent Islam as a whole? There are some Muslims that agree with a support the Taliban and their brutality, just like there were Christians that agreed with and supported the Ustase. Every good thing Muslims have ever done will be put forth as evidence that all Muslims are just as good as any other religion while all Muslim atrocities are swept under the rug, and the worst things any Christian or Israeli have ever done will be put forth as evidence that all Christians and Israelis are no better than the worst Muslims, while all the good things that Christianity and Israel have to offer are ignored.

Nothing's been ignored. You are able to separate the violence in your own religion's history from the religion as a whole but are unable to do the same for Islam. Why is that? So why can't you use that same power of reasoning when it comes to these violent religious zealots and Islam?

I am not the poster you are talking to, but that "power of reasoning" is false. I agree that violent zealous extremists in Islam do not represent all of Islam. However, Islam as a whole is still violent and supports violence. Just not to the extremes of the extremists.

If you are talking about Trump, you are correct. He has no filter. He has already encouraged people at his rallies to physically attack protesters by telling them he would pay their legal bills. He has already said he would like to "hit" some of the DNC speakers. Do you think he for sure won't say something in defeat (because he WILL lose) that may at least cause him to be charged with inciting a riot? I can EASILY see him saying something that encourages disgruntled voters to "take the matter into their own hands" or something even more specific. He uses that kind of language and bully attempts, but that will not be allowed to stand if he is threatening the government of the United States or an elected President. Really, what in his behavior tells you that you are convinced he WON'T say something like that?
