Chimpanzee are way too powerful compare to a man,5 to 6 times stronger muscles. a 162lbs chimp had a one arm deadlift of close to 1000 lbs.

Agree on the chimp; no way it is anything like a contest. A better question is how many men would it take to beat a single chimp, but that is another thread. I don't think that a man with a knife or baseball bat could come close to beating a chimp one on one.
I think people are overestimating a man's ability to get a solid kick in on a moving animal or to pick up a 50 lb animal that is biting continuously.
Go to an inner city ER detention center and see the results of some man versus police dog fights. Not pretty for the man.

I don't think the chimp is the right answer, I think that the way a 80 lb chimp overmatches a man so easily is good evidence that there is probably a 40-50 lb animal out there that can also consistently take a man down.
The people I'm thinking of were dragged out from under a porch by their leg by a dog. Not drunk. I can't imaging someone thinking about extra charges when they're in that kind of pain. All they are thinking about is how to get the dog off of them, and they can't.
No way would a linebacker have a chance against a chimp. It would be a massacre.

Well I change my opinion again then, nobody said anything about performance enhancement. I say a 180 lb primate on xanax maybe can take out the world's strongest man (400 lbs)on the best drugs for strength endurance and violence (I read a chimp is only twice as strong pound for pound so it would only be its wild aggression that would trump a human but that can be overcome by drugs increasing violent behavior)
