There's no doubt eldrick and ventolin are the same monster.

Notice how he doesn't post during daytime hours on the east coast. He's in Europe now, for sure.

At altitude, the production of energy from sugars is more economical, because it needs less oxygen per energy unit. On the contrary, the ability to pruduce energy from fat is severely limited due to reduction of oxidative enzymes or even reduction of capillary density. This is no problem at altitude, where you have little oxygen in the air, so the "sea level" oxidative potential of your muscle would be excessive; however, it dramatically hampers endurance performance at sea level. Anaerobic glycolysis is reduced as well, which helps in lowering lactate production at altitude, but it again limits work capacity at sea level.

Altitude natives thus possess a generally lowered rate of ATP production - a consequence of the lower oxygen concentration in the air that doesn't allow high work rate anyway.

Workload at altitude is reduced, but so what?

Altitude dwellers benefit from increased oxygen levels when running at low altitude and workload increases. VO2max increases by around 12% in a runner who lives at 2000m and competes at sea level.

How does this support your claims against African runners?
