Cooper Stream isn’t running the 1600 so in this case, Stephen Siezbert from Bellarmine hands down. He has the fastest NorCal time and is 2nd in the state, running 4:09 at New Balance Indoor recently

Giselle Fernandez is winning the 1600 sombrero heat no questions and is setting a record. 3200 is up in the air but I predict the fastest time won’t come from the sombrero heat but from the penultimate heat cause… Gretchen Yakaitis is in the heat prior to the sombrero heat and was in a hot streak in xc culminating into a 17:09 at Woodward park. That or Alyssa Gutteriez goes under 10:20 this Saturday

Looking at his state leading time of 1:51.89 it would appear he made the right choice. Have to see how the rest of his season goes compared to the rest of the NP Team
