These women are much older than Hiltz. She excuse me they would have whipped their butt.
Actually they are not older than Nikki. In fact, Josette was faster as a junior than Nikki as a senior.

Not even first American. Everyone hating on my original take completely missed the point. 6th is a great finish for her. It annoys me when people say they are medal contenders to elevate how people view them. The average person doesn’t follow the sport so when they hear that, they think Andrew’s was actually one of the top 3-4 runners. She had almost 0 chance of medalling. I would have no issue if she said in a championship race you never know what could happen. She made it seem like she was an actual medal contenders regardless of how the race played out. She had no chance in a kickers race and really no chance if someone took it out fast either.
Why is it ok to have “go home devastated” threads on all runners but not Andrews. Is she somehow more special? Total BS. Makes people dislike her even more.

"Go home devastated" is for losers trying to compensate for their own lack of ambition and success.
Here is what she said: "I think anything is possible in Tokyo. I want to be in that final, and competing in the top, and competing for medals. I really do feel like that's possible."
You know what? I don't want to associate with anyone who doesn't have that attitude. They're losers. Always will be. Stay miserable.

Oh come on, the average person has no idea who Andrews is and certainly is not watching these kind of interviews. The only people watching these interviews are track obsessives who know actually what she meant.

You can't even get her quote right. She said: "I want to be in that final, and competing in the top, and competing for medals. I really do feel like that's possible."That's exactly what a competitor thinks. That's who she is, and it's who you're not. You're a loser.
If I was your coach I'd tell you "You're not going to be a good fit here. Perhaps you should think about transferring? There's a University in San Antonio that I think fit's your personality."
Winning isn't for everyone. Only winners get to do that.
