He finally gets some running related attention (wasn't in his performances), his cheap shot tweet got a lot of looks, comments, etc. Wasn't that what he was looking for when he pressed the "Post" button? That single quoted retweet was most likely the most attention his sorry @ss has ever gotten.
I don't think he was being that serious. Just an eyeroll. The death of him was Des liking the tweet. It wouldn't have come up on my feed if she hadn't cause I follow her, not him. I think people are making way too big a deal out of it. They are not punching down on Kipchoge, just because he happens to look like ET.

letsrun.com used to be alright until around a few years ago I think around 2017.It was objective. Brilliant coaches like Renato Canova shared awesome training ideas and tips.Respectable stakeholders and pundits gave Brilliant views and topics over various topics across the board.I think the brojos were involved closely in the daily moderation and running of the website at the time.Once they delegated it, it went downhill.
I wasn't here in 2017 or 2016 although I came infrequently to catch on news about high performance running. I just recently looked at some threads on the truest clean athlete of all time Hicham El Guerrouj from 2012 and 2011 and I must say I find them no different in quality to the threads about Jakob Ingebrigsten in the current era, the pretender to the El G's throne.
I concede though that the threads in the modern era in 2022/2023 demonstrate more moral and ethical degradation than the threads from 2011/2012. People have become more depraved in their views and heedless/evil. Everybody loved El G back in 2011/2012 and praised him for being clean and inviolable but fast forward 10 years later people have gone mad and find all the hate about him. El G didn't change and remained the same, it's people's moral standards deteriorating over time!

But the overall quality of threads was better.Nowadays it's just bottom of the barrel stuff.Critics were always there but atleast they tried nowadays they just don't bother.
Des Linden is a trash athlete who has only won one WMM in completely freak conditions. She wishes she was as successful as Eliud.
