Guilty AF. Trace cross contamination from a food truck?! Bish please! She's Nike level guilty. She's just using the Lance Armstrong aggressive defense stance.

Guilty on 2 counts. Either (1) Guilty of actually doping on purpose. Or (2) Guilty of being dumb. If the contaminated meat story is actually true...then come on man. You're a PROFESSIONAL athlete! What in the hell are you doing eating something from a food truck in the first place? It's food...from the back of a truck!! Clearly not optimal fuel for a professional.
She is not the smartest. That is why I am leaning toward the food truck explanation. She probably does it frequently. She has said that she lived on junk food in high school.
Guilty
Genuine question: Why would someone keep a month old receipt of a burrito? Seems fishy (or shall I say porky?)
I’m leaning towards guilty. The contaminated meat claim sounds too bizarre . How is she sure it came from that?
Clean
She got "massively swole"? She probably weighs 100 pounds.
Guilty. And the more that gets said and reported, the more clear she is guilty. Blame it on the Mexican burrito! I heard someone slipped some crushed up pork rinds in her soup too.
You deniers are funny. What this shows is how easily some people can convince themselves what they want to be true, actually is true.
Good riddance to this doper. The fact that other dopers aren't caught, doesn't make her any less guilty. This is EXACTLY what the sport needs - high profile doper is punished, and the next person will think twice before deciding to disgrace the sport.
I've suspected that doping over the past year has been off the charts, so this is not surprising.
guilty as charged. the defenders love to cite this "310 g of pork offal" study, but that does not hold water. a f***ing burrito that *probably didn't even contain offal (or else they would have clearly stated this)* is not gonna put you over the testing threshold, sorry shelbs. i don't care if you are a smol bean.
add me to the list of people who don't think anyone is truly clean at the elite level. felt this way even before shelby. i'm sure there are levels to it, and some are "cleaner" than others, but everybody is trying to squeeze out that last edge and they will take sketchy supplements to do it.
GUILTY.
I will never trust results from BTC now. Cheats.
Bummer, they screwed up and have really let now USA distance running

Guilty, and I have suspected this for several years now.
"I believe in clean sport..." "I would never cheat...." I think we've heard every excuse in the book at this point. I'm not buying it. No top-tier runner getting popped surprises me anymore, most of them if not all are doping.
Letsrun, can you do some journalism/science and have someone eat whatever it is these athletes keep claiming they're eating before testing positive for this drug and then perform doping tests after and see if this claim they are making holds any weight at all? I'm highly suspicious but it seems we should be able to test pretty easily if you eat this contaminated meat what is actually possible to trigger a positive test. Note to athletes: if your career depends on you passing drug tests eating pig stomach tacos from sketchy food trucks is not a great idea.
Innocent
Guilty. There is really no other explanation
100% guilty
I think she's innocent. But I want to hear the rationale behind the AIU decision.
I also want to know from the running community--were there rumors or suspicions around Shelby or anyone at BTC in the past? With NOP, there were suspicions.

she made pretty significant performance jumps in her mid 20s. a lot of people who have done that in the past have turned out to be dopers. i wasn't following the sport much when she ran her super fast times, but to go from a good-but-not-great runner at arizona state (lol) to the AR holder in just a few years is kinda sus ngl.
She claimed part of her sudden improvement is her new diet. Seems the diet was burritos with a side of nandrolone.
Guilty.
Incredibly frustrated with how a lot of the bigger names in the running community are eating up some very well crafted talking points. This website fed into it. BTC/Nike is controlling the narrative. The average running fan is out there liking Shelby's IG post insisting that she had a bad burrito & is being treated unfairly. This isn't good for the sport. You can deflect these types of accusations pretty easily.
