Very very bad day in viruslandia. promising day in the world
- 7 day rolling average of daily deaths -
World: new cyclical high plateau / possible downtick continues despite normal tuesday blip
It's a 7 day rolling average. Tuesday blips are irrelevant. And you use the word 'possible' to mean 'hopefully.' Sure, improvement is possible. But what a meaningless statement to make.
US: new cyclical high possible plateau despite tuesday blip
again, the word 'possible.' Ok, sure fine but that's a meaningless thing to say.
BZ: Near all time highs, on a long high plateau continued plateau gives hope of evenutal downturn - good news is that increases continue to refuse to happen
Sure, hope. Ok. Agreed that a plateau is better than a rise.
India: new all time high deaths remain relatively low and not increasing in line with worrying cases in crease - which is now steadying. to be fair - very little faith in either figure.
FL: new all time high tuesday blip belies possible start of fall 'possible'
CA: new all time high steady increase, but recent falls in cases looks good for future
TX: new all time high tuesday blip belies possible start to plateau 'possible'
AZ: falling down the backside of the curve. looking promising
Add those four states and you get an all time high, 32% (!) higher than a week ago.
Just awful stuff. But I hear cases are starting to fall in some places, so probably in a couple weeks the death numbers in the US will start to decline.
bad times starting to plateau, possibly at worst; tuedays always bad, finger crossed for next few days, could go either way. countries with worse and worsening results notorious for poor statistics, so new part of circle could be starting
it's a 7 day rolling average. Tuesday blips don't matter.
'could be'
my glass is half full, but i can see why yours may appear half empty.
I'm looking at one piece of the stats and intentionally disregarding cases and tests. I know that doesn't give a full picture.
Your talk of hope and possibility is not helpful or analytical.
