All the 'smart' antivaxxers have given up. The Omicron wave proved to them that

1) The vaccine works very, very well (especially against severe disease and the health care usage that comes with it)

2) The vaccine is very safe

3) The vaccine will likely remain highly effective against many future strains (given the distance between the vaccine-encoded strain and Omicron).

Antivaxxers have nothing to to but repost debunked claims and cry, and even the most ardent are giving up – way less vaccine posts on the front page than there used it.

In January this year in England 92% of alleged covid deaths were vaccinated, 8% unvaccinated. That's 7616 vaccinated deaths compared to 668 unvaccinated.

79% of the population have been vaccinated. What gives?

When you cannot support your argument with facts, cry for censorship.

Facts:

1. Jab does not prevent transmission of Covid.

2. The current variants are quite mild with next to nobody being truly harmed by Omicron.

3. The jab has killed and harmed far more people than all other vaccines combined in the past 30+ years.

4. Natural immunity is always far better than any vaccine.

Time to educate the people who have fallen for the Big Pharma propaganda.

If you look at the age standardized mortality rates in the table (literally 2 columns over) you'll see unvaccinated people were dying at 5x the rate of ever vaccinated people in Jan 2022.

You need to correct for base rate and Simpson's paradox. I've said this dozens of times.

All the UK data supports that the vaccines work extremely well against severe disease.

Ever vaccinated are the people 21 days after booster, so really that means the vaccines last a couple of months at best? Sounds great.

The people who only had 2 doses have a greater age standardized mortality rate than the unvaccinated. Why are double vaxxed more likely to die from covid than the unvaxxed?

No covid restrictions now here at all due to the amount of people who got vaccinated.

Did you read like 1 percent of his post only?
Table 5 shows that regardless of 1, 2, 3 doses or after 21 days or within 21 days of whatever dose, the unvaccinated are dying at a significantly higher rate than the vaccinated are.
This is the table for monthly age-standardized mortality rates by age group and vaccination status. Not sure where you are getting the claim that those with 2 doses have a greater mortality rate than the unvaxxed.

Why did more people allegedly die of Covid in 2021, a year in which billions of jabs were administered, than in 2020, were effectively none were?

Because:

1) more contagious variants emerged in 2021

2) A disproportionate number of deaths were from unvaccinated people.

3) 1) made it possible for there to be more deaths from covid in 2021 despite increased vaccination.

This vaxx is not guaranteed safe at all.

I read this survey and I see two potential problems.

First, this survey was done in the second week of May 2021. A google trends search found that searches for myocarditis were flat until they skyrocketed in late May 2021. In short, this survey was done before we saw a rise in reports of myocarditis as an adverse event. Today, barely a day goes by without a new report from medical professionals that adverse effects are not being reported and, appallingly, these whistleblowers are being harassed, fired, or forced to resign.

Second, I think some physicians are reluctant to voice their true feelings on the vaccine for fear of retaliation... and with good reason. Look at the veiled threats from the author of the paper.

Callaghan noted that... 10% is a pretty big proportion to be hesitant. It suggests, for that 10%, we need to do some work in terms of education and potentially, intervention...

One other curious point. There are only two questions about vaccines in the entire survey. One question is "Thinking about vaccines in general, give your opinion on..." It's an interesting background question, but it's not as pertinent as questions on covid vaccines. There was only one question on covid vaccines! It was "How confident are you that the following Covid-19 vaccines are safe. It then listed Pfizer, Moderna, and J&J. The responses were Very Confident, Confident, Somewhat Confident, and Not at all Confident.

How about a REAL survey?! Include questions like.

- How often have you seen what might have been an adverse event in your patients? Answer would be... Very significant increase, significant increase, a few cases, no increase.

- Have you seen a rise in previously undiagnosed illnesses in your vaccinated patients? Answers would be... a very significant increase, a significant increase, possibly an increase, no increase.

- Have you seen a worsening in pre-existing conditions in your patients after vaccination. Answers would be the same as the above.

This is a survey that I would like to see.
