I know 18 people who've contracted Covid in the last month. All vaccinated. All recovered within 5-6 days.

My wife and I are not vaccinated and haven't contracted Covid at all.
It's great that having a healthy lifestyle and not being over 80 works as well.

Sir, I understand this may be shocking to you but literally 99.8 percent of people, vaccinated or not, have that result with Covid. I personally know many people who were unvaccinated when they got Covid (you do recall it took a year before any vaccine was released, yes?) and they recovered in less than a week, with no issues, after barely having cold symptoms.

Sir, I hope you also understand that things are drastically different now, the rate of infection is 10x what it was a year ago, and the ratio of hospitalized patients is extremely disproportionate in favor of the unvaccinated.
You can remember whatever you want pre-vaccine, when the spread of Covid was much lower and lockdowns were artificially repressing spread, but we have actual data now, and it's irrefutable that getting Covid while being unvaccinated makes you much, much more likely to get extremely sick.

I got Covid-19 (presumably Omicron) a few weeks ago while unvaxxed. For me it was far from being miserable, honestly it really felt like the disease with a 0.06 % case fatality rate as the European Union health doctors estimated way back in January.
Like a mild flu -- no muscle pain, no sore throat, temperature like two-three days slightly above 99 F. Because of the guarantine rules, it was essentially a 5 day paid vacation while enjoying the spring sun. I felt almost guilty when my boss called me and asked how I was, whether I would survive it. I simply responded to her that I just finished reading a 700-page biography of Vladimir Putin ("New Czar").
Meanwhile my female first cousin of my age suffered her second (or third?) Covid-infection in two years. A week of hallusinations, fatigue, muscle pain and high fever. My age, no diseases, triple vaxxed. The disease was also a mediocre flu for her unvaxxed elder brother.
3 million Finns have had the disease, circa half a million of them unvaxxed. The death toll has been like 3000 people.

Sonoma County students are invited to take part in a countywide health video competition by submitting short videos that explain, promote and encourage COVID-19 vaccination and boosters in young people.
The Vax Video Contest, a partnership between the County of Sonoma, the Healthcare Foundation Northern Sonoma County and the Sonoma County Office of Education, is for local students in sixth through 12th grades. Topics can include the availability of vaccines, ease and advantages of being vaccinated, as well as facts versus myths and how misinformation has affected the pandemic.
