This thread was deleted by a volunteer moderator. I certainly don't want a thread this big deleted so I've restored. THat being said, this thread has served it's purpose. I've closed it to new posts.
We have a new 2024 vaccine thread here. New people don't need to try to wade through 20,000 posts to figure out what is going on.
Bad idea. There wouldn’t be enough players to finish the game. They’d catch covid in the subsequent quarter or suffer from an autoimmune disease or die suddenly. 👎
Maybe even turbo cancer!
You never know. The vax is like a box of chocolates.
The new study provides the most compelling data yet to suggest that excess mortality rates from chronic illnesses and other natural causes were actually driven by COVID-19 infections.
Thanks for posting this study. Fig 3 shows an interesting trend that, in my opinion, builds a case for many of these non-covid excess deaths to be vaccine related.
In every region, excess deaths began to decline in Sep 2020. The decline continues in almost every region until March 2021 and then begins to climb again.
Adjusting for a time lag of three months after vaccination, the rate of excess non-covid deaths closely matches the increasing vaccination rate from late December 2020 to early summer 2021. Excess non-covid deaths begin to decline in Sep 2021, again roughly a 3 month lag after the rate of vaccination slowed in early summer 2021.
The authors did not address this possible vaccine trend in their study and it's obvious why they didn't. It puts a pretty big hole in their conclusion. I'd like to see a study based on this excess non-covid death data that looks at trends related to vaccination.
Let me be clear. I'm not saying that all these excess deaths were vaccine related. Some could have been linked to prior cases of covid. Some could have been linked to a prior case of Covid plus a weakened immune system due to the vaccination.
Still, the data they collected certainly points to the vaccine as being a possible cause of excess deaths.

Nearly every 'vaccine-skeptic' that comes on here, when pressed to strictly define their position, seems to end up in whack-job land.
This is because holding 'skeptical' views about the COVID vax requires extreme conspiracy-style thinking in order to reject all the positive data.
You can't have one without the other, it seems.
The 4th anniversary of the declaration of the state of emergency in Massachusetts is coming on March 10. I have this idea for a new sport: Hoopless Ball. 3 to a team, 6 players total on a basketball court where the hoop has been removed from the backboard. Players will be required to maintain 6 feet of distance from each other and an ill fitting cloth mask must be worn throughout the game. Only 3 point shots are allowed and the points are awarded for the ball hitting the backboard. Every 5 minutes there will be a stoppage in play for the ball to be disinfected with Clorox wipes.
Final set of rules to be issued soon. Suggestions welcome.
If a player coughs or clears their throat, that player is shunned by the other players. Everyone must glare at that person and take two steps away.
Also, if a cough occurs, team members and fans must quarantine for 7-10 days. This includes anyone watching on TV.

The excess deaths exactly track reported covid deaths. They also track covid cases. You are seeing the Delta wave in Summer/fall 2021.
Here is a chart for many countries showing COVID deaths vs excess deaths and vaccinations:
No it doesn’t.
The only time excess deaths correspond to vaccine rollouts is when vaccine rollouts were done during a massive Covid surge.
As you see if you look at countries all over the world (and not just the ones with Covid waves at time of rollout or after rollouts) pic.twitter.com/pUGX9zR3QW
You'll see the correlation of COVID deaths is obviously far, far tighter - they match excess deaths in time and magnitude. If the vaccine was truly deadly, you'd see a trend in every country.
Also the death rate of the unvaxxed during the delta was like 10x higher than the unvaxxed. I wonder why they were dying.
It's just COVID deaths during different waves of infection, as the authors correctly show.

The death rate of unvaxxed was 10x the death rate of the unvaxxed? 🤦♂️
Twoggle and Sub-9 disappear the day after Rancourt says he thinks viruses don't exist. Interesting. A holy trinity? is.. is not...
Except I didn't disappear. Never, once, threw support behind Rancourt, whoever that is. I already told you viruses are real, as real as Djokovic's three slam titles in 2023. People leave here because they get tired of debating a disingenuous troll who just wants to bait everyone. Like, that's the end game. If a person has three vaccines or if they have natural immunity, I think they'd be crazy, as a generally low risk person, to get the vaccine now. Basically Offit's position. But you and all of your various handles can't understand nuance. And we are all awful, awful people because if we are not pushing five, six shots, then we are pushing Crohns. You've already proven yourself a disingenuous person and a fraud when talking about Djokovic, so why would people keep wasting time here, arguing with a pharma-subsidized Snopes fact-checker? My daughter is great. Didn't need the vaccine or your "advice."

Hey welcome back, glad to hear to don't agree with the whacko antivaxxers.
People leave because I defeat them and they get tired of losing.
"If we ignore COVID cases and deaths and apply a random 'lag' to make the delta peak overlap" the curves overlap!
This is not a convincing argument. If course you can force a correlation between two peaks if you literally superimpose them.
A lot of people operate from the base assumption that COVID simply didn’t kill people. It’s a hardened belief that is necessary for everything downstream.
Here’s your daily reminder that Harambro thinks that if you are unvaxxed and you get Covid, your immune system no longer exists. It is gone. Destroyed.
This is the level of lunacy we are dealing with here. 🤦♂️

You’d better watch out. Harambro is mad-posting again today. So mad that he’s going to steal people’s handles. 😂
