And they did over 50 attempts with no calibration curves to eventually find one that had him guilty but to do so had to use someone else’s urine.

To have a test result valid they have to follow the methodology set out for the machines they use.
Not having calibration work up invalidates the results.
Lying about doing so and then your legal department have to admit they were not done should have been a life ban and not a life ban for Edwards.

I remind they lied about have done no calibration curves having told the heating panels that they had done them and then had a lie given to Parliament.
An other Olympics gone and Edwards gets no justice today remedy the appalling analysis of his sample.
They have now had to admit that they have now illegally destroyed Edwards data.
Not breach of Doping law but breach of Law as set out by Parliament.
Will this cost UKAD 4% of their 7£Million turnover.
And what if they have destroyed thousands upon thousands of athletes data.
Or just just lost it.
Strict Liability, will it send the drug to the banned list?

When data protection law catches up with antidoping and makes it ineffective then you can blame the Edwards case.
They had enough chance to clear him and now the Law could ban drug testing.

How do they get away with sending personal data all round the world and comply with each nations data laws including nations that have no data law?

I am told that Canada does not meet Euro data stds ; does this mean that it is illegal to send data to wada?
Anyway they are in enough trouble for destroying Edwards data without his permission and even then there is no record of any safe destruction.

Why is the Edwards case and it’s effects on the whole of drug testing by drug testing destroying data not been worked out by letsrun readers.
And they did not do calibration work up on his samples
and covered it up and now his data has been destroyed .
