What was it like being a 1990s runner?

I have no clue about basketball like most in the old world, so perhaps the game changed for different reasons in America and Europe (or maybe for the same reason, if that basketballguy had a salami too).

Ever heard of Michael Jordan? Has a big shoe and clothing deal with Nike. Made millions in shoes, clothing, and brought in the trend of long shorts.
