See you say that, but they still finished ahead of so many decent programs that supposedly have better academics than Buffalo does. Considering it's a public University with virtually no funding for running (I'm assuming an institution like that only has fully funded football/basketball) an 8th place finish is quite respectable, and a look at their team seems like there's a strong distance and mid-D crew on the horizon. Oughta be interesting to see how they fare in the spring.

Wow, NAU is tough. CU gets the auto on the Mens side by a thin margin. Great run by CSU to beat UTEP. That is one tough region. It will be interesting to see where Erin Clark finishes at nationals. I am guessing she held back a little at this meet to help the pack time.

So Flotrack has Penn instead of Boise St in, otherwise what I said. I believe the difference comes from this meet, where Nova ran four of their seven from today and lost to Penn. What a system.

It appears that Iowa State's women's team at Roy Griak is a B team. Our preliminary run of the computer didn't have Penn getting in.

But we weren't counting the prestigious Main line invitational so we'll see what happens.

And yes, amazingly what it came down to for Penn vs. Boise State is Penn beating Villanova (running without its top two finishers at Regionals) in a 3-team, 3-mile race way back on September 16. That gave Penn an extra point, and since Penn beat Boise State at Wisconsin, they get in ahead of Boise State.

I know 5Ks count...I was looking to find whether 3-mile races count. I assume if 5Ks do, then 3-miles do but I'm not sure. Still trying to find it in the rulebook
