Well it did not long for him to get his PR team going. A defendant is always at a disadvantage in the court of public opinion because of the stigma of a charged offense and the capacity/ability of the police/prosecutors to leak "facts", but given what is known his PR approach is way over the top.

#1. I specifically said I had no idea what happened with Pistorius and his girlfriend.
#2. My only point was that, contrary to what some had posted, the presence of intense security measures does not make people in South Africa feel safe, nor does it make them safe.
#3. Girlfriend could have had access, such as a key, being on the "pass list" at the front gate, etc, as the original rumor was that she was surprising him for Valentine's Day ... but see item #1.

Defense says she was pissed at him and hurting his feelings. She was calling him mean names concerning his legs. She had info. supposedly about lies and drugs to the OLympic Comm. Only problem with this is, while she was in bathroom, locked, she got shot thru hand...palm out the back. She was holding the door closed so he could not get thru. Again, if these pieces are confirmed then he won't get out of jail before 2030 and honestly, I don't think he will live that long.

at least the truth is coming out and all the naysayers and excuse makers that want to protect Oscar will not be able to, they ought to all look in the mirror and think long and hard about why they did not confront their 'friend' before he did this, just my opinion but I would guess he has come pretty close to this before brandishing a gun at his women
sadly the reality is if you own a gun you are far more likely to hurt a loved one than to protect them, not preaching gun control, just saying Oscar loved his guns without self-control
