Looks like all those protests were worth it. Keep screaming & yelling at concrete while the rest of the country is working.

Scott Walker is losing the war and he is going to strengthen unions. This will backfire!
America is at risk to be completely dominated by a few extremely wealthy individuals. Maybe this gambit of Scott Walker's to take down the middle class's last bastion of protection, the unions, will wake America up to what is happening.The middle class has not had such a poor standing economically in relation to the wealthy class in quite a long time. The unions are currently floundering. Maybe this antiunion attack will jump start the movement.We shall see what kind of country we become.

Most people that belong to a union are not middle class. Public employees, Auto Workers and Teachers that belong to unioins make way too much to be middle class. And yes he did say "make" not "earn".

Just because I gave you a tough time for being a union guy and voting Republican in every election except for Jimmy Carter (Jimmy Carter?...Really?) doesn't mean I have hate in my heart. This was one of the dumber statements here. All those damn rich teachers and auto workers.
I am a teacher and I agree with teacherous. Unfortunately we all face limits to our abilities, except me and some of my union buddies. It is true - but you can disagree.
I couldn't agree with you more. Do people realize that when wages/benefits get reduced it happens across the board because human resource departments base wages on comparisons in a given geographical area. So if your neighbor whom you are envious of gets a wage decrease then you will also eventually.
kill the unions, just take a wrecking ball and demolish them for what they've done to business in this counrty
if you support unions, you don't deserve a job

The unions made it impossible for me to negotiate my own work hours and compensation with my employer. I want to work 60 hours a week, but because the unions in my state established a law mandating that employers must pay 150% of an employee's regular wage for any time in excess of 40 hours a week, my employer can't afford to let me work "overtime." So, thanks to the unions, I make 50% less money than I would be able to if they hadn't established that rotten law. It's absolutely ridiculous that I'm forbidden by law to work additional hours for my regular wage when I'm PERFECTLY HAPPY to do so. Thanks for nothing, unions.
since you are so industrious why don't you get a part time job like many others do. You may like it more and it may give you opportunities that are unimagianable to you now. Therefore you might benefit by new opportunities. What city are you in?
