Very impressed with Megan Keith's result. She's such a strong and gutsy runner, in my opinion better suited to the roads than the track where she lacks a killer kick. Reminds me of Paula Radcliffe and her compatriot Liz McColgan. A pity that the commentary team were oblivious to her race progress and shocked to see her finish in 3rd place ( only a whisker from 2nd ). The TV coverage never attempts to screen the chasing groups.

BTW, for those interested, the pronounciation of Wildschutt would loosely be 'Villed-skit', rhyming with 'trip' or 'dip'
The W in Afrikaans has a V sound
I get that you guys are not interested in Adrian, after all he took the shine off this Grant Fisher debut. "Hear ye, hear ye, Grant Fisher will smash the NYC Half" "He didn't? Don't worry, no one else did"
So, just a poll on why an informative post like the above gets down voted.
a) I down vote everything
b) I down vote everything you post, but I read it first
c) Everyhthing should be anglicised (or americanised), we don't like foreign sounds
d) I am a moran
just some fun, cheers
The commentators lack any real knowledge on most runners in that race. Was very poor

Almost laughable.
The Irishman running at the front was first 'Patrick', you know maybe because they are all 'paddies', especially with St Patricks Day coming up, then oh sorry his name is Peter.
Wildschutt was 'Russian' because of the RSA next to his name. Sorry for the stereotype, but does he even 'look' Russian in any way? Then he says..."so he must be used to the cold", despite Adrian's humungously thick beanie, arm sleeves and gloves.
Where did they get these people, from a game show?
