Yes. Djokovic play well. He would beat Alcaraz. Sinner too much but Djokovic amazing player at age 38. Amazing.
He wasn't amazing when he was being beaten by Nadal and Federer earlier in his career, in his early 20's.
He was amazing. You no know tennis. Even before age 24 Djokovic beat Nadal on hardcourt 9-4. Nadal all time great on clay always beat Djokovic in age before 24 except 2 time. Djokovic 8-9 on hardcourt with Federer before 24 age. Federer 6 years more than Djokovic. When Djokovic 20 Federer have 12 Grand Slams and Djokovic still beat Federer on hard courts half time. You no know tennis.

You are correct. That poster has shown an amazing inability to understand tennis at all.
What a pleasure to watch the match. As almost everyone who watches tennis anticipated, the idea of Novak overcoming the top ranked player currently was unlikely. He still had fight in him today. To watch him making the semifinals playing kids 15 years his junior is an experience we fans should all cherish. Watching the GOAT tangling with the next generation, as the torch is passed, is an opportunity we are lucky to have!

Uhm no. Alcaraz has looked much better vs Sinner than Djokovic.

The poster, I assume, was saying that Novak would fare better against Alcaraz than he would against Sinner. Novak has won four of their last five matches versus Alcaraz, including twice at Roland Garros.

He said he would beat Alcaraz, not “fare better”. Based on how they played this tournament, I do not agree. This is not the same form as the Olympics which isn’t 5 set matches anyway.

The fact is Novak has consistently performed better against Alcaraz than Sinner. Do you disagree? Novak also defeated Alcaraz earlier this year in Australia.

No I don’t.
Alcaraz is in better form and would’ve beaten Novak if Djokovic had made the final. Do you disagree?

You’re disagreeing that Novak has defeated Alcaraz four out of their last five matches? And that Novak has consistently played better against Alcaraz than Sinner? I don’t know how to respond to someone who will not accept basic facts and truths.
As for who would have won today if Novak had made the final is something we will never know. You can give an opinion. But that won’t change the facts of record in their rivalry.

Djokovic is a great player, but I strongly doubt he could have beaten Alcaraz today. Sinner played better than against Djokovic and came close to beat Alcaraz, but after he could not convert the three match points, the match was over.
You only show you don't know anything about doping in sports. So the only dopers are those who are caught? BTW, Sinner wasn't caught doping; WADA said he was accidentally contaminated through the carelessness of his team, that it wasn't intentional and he wouldn't have gained from it but he was responsible for what was in his body. So he received and accepted a ban for a technical breach.
But whether you think he was doping or not the practice is through elite and pro sports and that includes tennis. There have been no more likely candidates than Nadal and Djokovic. Until Djokovic went gluten-free in 2011 he was never in contention for being at the top of the sport, let alone winning 24 slams. He had regularly fatigued and was known as "the quitter" because he had withdrawn from 7 matches. But you won't know that. In the last decade of the sport his nickname amongst followers of the sport has been "Djuicervic" or "Dopervic".
That’s a lot of words to repeat what I already said. Sinner took personal responsibility and accepted his penalty. And that slinging mud without proof is good enough for you to be fact.
I concern myself with what is probable. What WADA said about Sinner indicates a lapse by his team but not intentional doping. His technical breach doesn't make him more likely a doper than Djokovic, who is smart enough not to have failed a test - like most top athletes.
With regard to players like Djokovic and Nadal I have observed them throughout their careers while following the sport, which has included widespread conjecture over the years from players, coaches and antidoping experts about the possibility or likelihood they have doped. Apparently you are unaware of any of this. If you are looking for failed tests to find the dopers you will miss most of them.

You clearly didn't follow Djokovic's career before 2011 - the time he went "gluten-free". He is "amazing" at 38 for much the same reason some other athletes have become better in their late 30's than in their early 20's. As I said, he is widely known amongst followers of the sport as "Dopervic".

Why do you have it in for this guy? You mad he refused the vax too? I’m not even necessarily disagreeing with you, but if they’re all doping like Sinner, then why single him out? At least he proved yet again that he doesn’t have long Covid at age 38 and will remain very close to top 5 in the world. Zverev is likely still incredulous.
I don't have anything against him. He is simply another in a train of professional athletes who has likely doped to succeed. What makes it conspicuously so is that he shows he is still better at 38 at the French than he was when he was demolished by Nadal at 21.
The rest of the tournament his matches were pretty "meh". Didn't leave me thinking he's a favorite to win Wimbledon.
The Zverev match was peak Novak. Incredible to see.
I lost a lot of respect for Sinner after he f**ked away that final. triple match point? And then getting to serve next game after f**king that up? Then f**king all of that up to lose?
