We had another thread with nearly 20,000 posts about the Covid-19 vaccine, but we feel it's outdated and will make this the official Vaccine thread for the year 2024. This thread was originally titled “2024 Official Covid-19 vaccine thread: Ex-CDC director says it's high time to admit "significant side effects" of covid-19 vaccines” but we wanted a more neutral title. The old thread is here: https://www.letsrun.com/forum/...
Redfield agrees that vaccines work, agrees with me that, beyond the 3 shot series, boosters are less critical for young and healthy people because the 3 short series worked so well.
Antivaxxers amplify it.
Are they finally seeing the light?
Nah, he thinks the Novavax killed protein vax is much better than the mRNA vaxxes as all of his long-vax patients received mRNA vaccines; none of his Novavax patients have long vax.
He also doesn’t like that he doesn’t know how much immuno-toxic spike protein his patients who take the mRNA vaccines make or for how long. A week? A month?
He doesn’t clarify whether the vaccines are less critical for the under 50s, now (blatant common sense that you are acting like is a novel concept) or ever.
He also concedes the mRNA vaccines have nucleon acid contaminants.
1) "killed protein vax" I am not usually a stickler for nomenclature but WTF?
2) Immuno-toxic? You mean inflammatory? You can detect spike RNA for months after COVID infection? Maybe up a month in a small fraction of vaccinated people? 3) "less critical" excellent weasel-wording as usual. Vaccinations are still beneficial for people under 50. Perhaps the absolute risk reduction is small enough to no longer motivate some people. This coupled with the relaxed stress on healthcare system makes it "less critical"
4) Extremely small amounts of DNA have been found in some batches of Pfizer vaccine. No evidence this correlates with more side effects though!

Evidence filled post as usual Sub9!
These are Dr. Redfield’s words, not mine. I’m simply responding to Harambe that he emphasizes the least important and most ambiguous point of the interview.
https://www.zerohedge.com/covid-19/ex-cdc-director-says-its-high-time-admit-significant-side-effects-covid-19-vaccinesDiscus. There's a reason no pure bloods regret it
Last night, based partially on evidence uncovered in @COVIDSelect's recent staff report and public hearing, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services commenced individual debarment proceedings against Dr. Peter Daszak, President of EcoHealth Alliance, Inc.
This move comes one week after @HHSgov issued an immediate, government-wide suspension on all taxpayer funds allocated to EcoHealth.
Dr. Daszak’s individual debarment will prevent him from receiving funds from the U.S. taxpayer.
I’m starting to think you are jealous you were never head of the CDC, you weren’t part of Operation Warp Speed, and you were never a clinician-scientist (the best kind).

Working as a clinician is a thankless job. I have great respect for them, but am grateful I don't have to work with patients :)

I can barely stomach LRC posters!
This is why I am the scientist. Clinicians are dumb and just utilize stuff other people (like me) invent. Plus they listen to morons complain all day.

You’re right. Pharmacists are dumb. Which is why I’m … wait for it … exiting the profession and looking into biomedical grad school (like Masters PhD). Nice try though. Typical Sub 9 guy L.

Well, I wish you luck then. Seriously.
You can start by watching the Cuomo interview of Redfield and typing up a transcript for 2600 bro. It’s really short. Last 7:30.
Chris Cuomo hosts "CUOMO," a no-nonsense show featuring the day's most important news from all perspectives. "CUOMO" airs weeknights at 8 p.m./7C on NewsNation.
