Yes. Caitlyn Clark drafted number one. Imagine the media if she quietly disappears. ESPN would give us every detail about her suspension, or training, or physical or mental rehab, or personal life, whatever is prohibiting her from playing.

Greg Oden was drafted by NBA as #1 pick ahead of Kevin Durant. Then he injured his knee and went on rehab for a full year, before being injured again. He never lived up to the expectations, but the expectation was there for a reason. Same thing happened to a lot of football and baseball prospects. They signed pro contract because of their potential. Nobody knows if they can truly pan out or not.
But we knew exactly what their status was. Only a few Tuohy fans put high expectations on her. Most of us knew that she wouldn't become elite. They didn't realize that their constant arguing actually created the pressure that she was unable to live up to.
Then Tuohy is meeting expectations of most people, just not a few of her fans. What is the problem here?
The problem is that we are all fans of the sport. Most of us expected her to be doing some races and running 15:00. But we really don't know what training she is doing or when she will race or if she plans to race at the trials.
Why do we even care about her rehab, training, or participating any races if most people don’t even expect Tuohy to be any good? People should be more interested in what Valby and Wiley are doing 24/7.
There are 10 to 1 as many posts in Valby althrea as compared to Tuohy threads over the past week.
Then we are all good. Enjoy the moment. Leave Tuohy alone. Valby could be the new savior of US distance running until the bubble bursts.
What bubble? Her potential is unlimited. Why leave Tuohy alone? If Caitlyn Ckark disappears, millions will be talking about it but you don't want dozens talking about Tuohy. It is almost as if there is an ominous reason that she isn't competing.

She’ll be just fine. She just did a Q&A panel for Adidas over the Boston Marathon weekend.
Did you figure out how many miles Valby runs each week yet? When is her next race? When will we see Valby against Hassan, and Wiley against Kipyegon?
Wiley ran yesterday. Valby will run conference and regionals and nationals and then trials. Wiley will run trials. Valby outlined her traing with runnersworld. Tuohy is being very coy about training and racing. Very odd.
