That men's 10k was shocking. Klecker ran great--super nice to see him win. Fischer got it done--what we all expected. Lots of shoving throughout. Bor moves out into like lane 3 in an attempt to block a charging McGorty and falls like an absolute idiot. Congrats to McGorty!
Have to say, pretty dumb race by Fisher (I say as a Fisher fan). No wind, should've taken it with 600-800 to go. 28:30 is anyone's race.
I’m an all in Fisher fan boy. I’m shocked and dismayed. Just don’t understand this sport…..truly.
What do you think Kiplimo, Barega et al are thinking? Do they look at this the way I looked at the JV 5 min 1600 when I could run 4:30? I’m not trying to be a jerk, I’m asking honestly?

It was idiotic. When you've run 40 seconds faster than everyone, you don't let it come down to a 100m sprint.
He should have gone from at least 1k to go.
This has always been my gripe with Fisher. He never trusts his strength. Always thinks he has the best kick. He didn't learn his lesson in college against McDonald.
I thought he figured it out in that 12:53 race winding it up in the final mile. Why didn't he just do that here? He's never had lights out speed, but he can crank it down. Play to your strengths!
That was awesome, I thought Klecker had lost it like 3 times in the final 100, but he pulled away by the finish. So hyped for him!! Hopefully he's in the coffee club pod next week that was an amazing race.
Love Fisher but the guy can't seem to win a race (races, not time trials...)
Every NCAA loss to McDonald, Kincaid and Chelimo at the trials, tonight against Klecker - always a great result, but never #1. Of course a medal at worlds is not off the table considering #2 is where he seems to fall...
