Yes she was cleared, but a Harvard graduate should be able to follow the rules.
Whereabouts are difficult on college athletes with the random travel and practice times. Not to mention she was going to Harvard and has to make up exams and things like that.
Gabby Thomas was pro at the time. She had been pro since 2018.

Nobody said that. "a Harvard graduate should be able to follow the rules" implies that a Harvard graduate should be smart enough to read and understand the rules, and therefore not inadvertently violate them.
Let's recall that she was only excused for one of those three missed tests, after some friends testified that she was at home at the time and the tester did not ring the bell. Her phone also showed that she was in the vicinity, no more, no less.

Shouldn’t any literate human being capable being at right place at the right time? The NAU guys have figured it out. Certainly her coach would be involved as well.
I only care about whether she’s eligible to compete at the WC this year. I’m not going to contemplate the meaning of the possible missed tests.
