For all the people who claim he lost because he wasn't motivated and/or hates running, could you send me the link to your mindreading device? Is there a Prime Day deal on it??

True except for Hassan. She can only run so many events.
What a shame for Brazier.
You could see him struggle from 300 on. Tried a few things that just put him further in the hole.
He was unable to sustain any effort. I suspect he's crook.
Never fun to get crook on the one day that only comes around every 4 years.
He'll get over it. He has a lot left

If the runners you mentioned were the best this year, then they would be going to the olympics.
I do believe that certain athletes are better at DL racing while others come to the fore during Olympic years in championship style racing.
DL
- pacers
- one off race each time, no heats
- appearance money = less pressure
- there's always another race in another week or so
Olys & OlyTrials:
- once every 4 years
- prestige = more athletes gunning for a spot.
- getting through the heats is hard and unpredictable
- when you're on top, everybody's coming after you
Murphy's always been a little weaker in DLs than championships
Conversely, Brazier is superior at DLs (his 2019 WC was not competitive for him to make the team)
Same seems be true with Tim Cheruiyot

This is definitely true. Centro is the epitome of a guy who thrives in the championship season compared to time trials.

For a "face for radio" kind of guy like Centro the money is on the olympics and WC. Get out there and execute on the biggest stage and get paid. He knows he's not WR material and remaining on top of any event is really difficult.
In the end, if you had to pick between being a WR holder and time trialist winning DL, or olympic champ, which would you prefer? I would prefer to be cemented in olympic history.
BRAZIER VACCINE
they are pulling various vaccines cross the world.
cardio vascular issues in young people
Brazier needs to go for a blood test, examine the cells, coagulation, risk factors etc.
ASAP
though the above is in the news, it is the thousands of nurses that are getting out the bulk of the info, which is of course censored, but there are too many to cover it up,

This is a legit question. Has Donovan been Covid vaccinated? If not, it would eliminate one theory.

Absolutely ridiculous. Cheruiyot has a world championship gold and one silver medal. Like Brazier he’s injured but tried the trials either way. Both Cheruiyot and Brazier can do both, although if Amos didn’t get injured before Doha ’19 he might have won.
Achilles. 3 weeks of inconsistent or non-existent workouts. He admirably took responsibility and made no excuses. he’ll be back. At the starting line, he looked nauseous, like he knew it wasn’t going to go well.

Ridiculous??
That's exactly the way it played out actually.
DB has made exactly one WC or Oly team out of 4 tries now.
Cheruiyot has been #1 1500 guy in the world for 3 years straight but Kenya has always been the toughest World team to make and in fact he didn't.
Ridiculous?
Look at the results!
Hypothetical#1 1500 runner doesn't equal Olympic champion.
Hypothetical #1 800 runner doesn't equal Olympic champion.
Neither had lost a race (not counting off distance races) in 3 years but each lost badly in their respective trials.
Ridiculous? No.
Fact!
You have 15 Diamond League by year while you have 1 Olympic finale every 4 years.
Ley's do it by math:
1/(4x15) = 0.01667
You have 1% chance to win an Olympic Gold Medal if you have 100% chance to win 1 Gold Medal in Diamond League in 4 years.

Isn't this usually the case for a few events?
Some obvious ones were Kipketer and Komen. I'm sure there are others which I don't remember so readily.
You do realize that Brazier has a WC gold medal, where he had to run rounds?! And now it appears he was running injured. He'll be back.

Never count out experience in these high pressure situations. Watch Centro dust the 1500 field next week
Naww. After Shelby got busted he stopped taking his PEDs to be safe. He'll probably struggle.

Have we ever seen a period of time where there have been THIS many runners scratching themselves or sandbagging races? I really can't remember one. And I'm old. Like real old, y'all.
It seems like everyone is doping and hoping they can stay under the radar.
Head case, Pressure turns up and he can’t hang. He gave up plain and simple. He will never race a competitive 800 ever again. This race ended his career. Move on and go incognito. He will have to live with this for the rest of his life. And that’s a killer !
