Is multiculturalism essentially a failure?

Luckily no one in charge of policy in America, ever... on either side, will allow American to succumb to demographic annihilation like you enthnonationalists are encouraging. You cannot focus only on the educated, wealthy immigrants and then claim that ALL immigration including the poor, uneducated, backward cultures will benefit America.

Its the small amount of "educated" Nigerians that disturb me. By and large what I've experienced in my fortune 500 company is the "educated" Nigerians put in leadership positions in my company are the worst of the worst. Company is losing so much money and potential but they go ahead with putting these people in these positions because of the mandatory optics.

This is why affirmative action is ruinous, , to a business or a country..

Switzerland has the second largest immigrant % of population in the WORLD. Unless you are going to argue that all of Europe, from Spain, to Serbia, to Finland is a homogeneous culture, that seems pretty diverse...

95% of Swiss immigration is from other parts of Europe, and yes, the cultures and people are close to homogeneous. What is not homogeneous is someone immigrating from Bangladesh or Burkina Faso.
