Yes, he cheated. Without context, a photo of him in full attire isn't evidence that he cut the course. I honestly don't recall that photo, but I only came in here after Litton ran his last race.

Sorry Derek, but yes it is. I've seen the photo too. Any logically thinking person who has finished a FULL marathon under 3 hours knows that yes, it certainly proves he cheated along with about a half dozen other things in the race. I'll try to find it for ya.

I agree as well. Yeah, that's called walking, race walking at best. He's crossing the mat trying to look like a spectator waiting for someone and then he left the course and did it again at the next mat, via a bike or a very tight lipped accomplice but a car would be tough, but not impossible.

No 3 hour marathoner would wear those clothes, stop to take it off during the race(without being seen by one person), then finish the race with a totally different running outfit while running in the low 2:50's at his age at Boston---no way. There's no video proof needed. I could explain it to a jury and have a unanimous decision in record short time.

I agree. The first statement was made without context. Everything together makes the case.

I've never once had a doubt that Litton cheated at every single one of his sub 3 hour races. With him, a mountain of circumstantial evidence makes the case. Had my site existed at the time, I would have been comfortable calling him out with the evidence gathered.

With the Meza photo sequences, it's no longer a circumstantial case. Anyone with common sense could have looked at those 2015 LA results and determined that the splits were impossible, but the photos/video of 2019 make a much more powerful and obvious case to those that need the evidence handed to them on a silver platter.

So he never attached the D-ring RFID tag to his shoe in the first place. In the first photo, he is carrying it, and in the second photo, he is checking his second watch to make sure his chip time makes sense.

Gotta hand it to this guy, he's pretty good at doing arithmetic in his head, if nothing else. Too bad he isn't good at running.

I think Dr Meza should be treated with respect and understanding.

Apologies if this has been asked ... but with all the photos and video, is there no way to determine how his chip is getting across the timing mats if there are no photos of Frank? Surely there are photos of someone crossing the mat with the same chip time?

I agree with your comments. Well said. I don't know what, exactly, should be said to those who have been misled over the years, but I hope that the communications will be forthright and honest, and not focused on reputational damage control.

There are photos of Frank but not many of him in different parts of a course where a sub3 marathoner would have pix taken. After a start Frank leaves the course then reappears about a half mile or less from a timing mat and then hops off the course shortly after crossing. Wash, rinse, repeat. Meanwhile many of the runners he has similar times to are captured in pictures throughout the course. Frank does not. In his early cheating days he didn’t even bother even bother crossing many of the mats and therefore had only finishing pics. He also had some wild 5K splits and then wore two watches to keep track of split and total race time.

Just because there's a timing mat there doesn't mean there'll be a photographer there also. There are a couple of photos/video of him at timing mats, but generally most of the photographers aren't at timing mats, they're where they're going to get the best shots. Check all the photo posts on this thread.
