Impeachment and conviction are separate. The House impeaches the Senate convicts. Acquittals don't negate impeachment. He will forever be twice impeached. Just not convicted.

You're misreading the constitution. The presidential pardon power does not extend to impeachment cases. The president may however pardon someone that's been impeached for other crimes unrelated to impeachment.

He inherited two major wars (the fight against ISIS and Afghanistan). The former, he ended with a victory. The latter, he successfully wound-down the troops to a minimal number while keeping it stable and then negotiated an exit plan with the Taliban. While also avoiding the wars neocons pushed him to start (Syria and Iran). He did a great job IMO.

Question for Trump supporters here. Is Trump capable of disappointing you? I mean if he doesn't live up to he promises will you call him out?

Looking for an answer that doesn't include a deflection to Biden or another version of "He won get over it". I understand he won.

What do you expect him to do?

You do understand that that's the job, correct? Every president inherits problems, it's their job to deal with them. I don't understand why, you think wars not starting under him, but continuing under him, makes him somehow not responsible for those wars.

Like I said before Covid didn't begin under Biden, is he somehow absolved from dealing with it. No, he had to deal with it. He was responsible for it during his time in office.

The deflection will be, even if he does a terrible job, it's still "better than that Harris lady."

What you don't understand is that he is at least trying to end the war. As opposed to the other side who prolonged it and wanted to continue to prolong it as long as possible. That is the important difference as I wrote about before the election and that continues to be true.
