Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin was admitted to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center on New Year’s Day for complications from an elective medical procedure, the Pentagon said Friday.
The Pentagon announced the hospitalization four days after Austin was initially admitted. Maj. Gen. Pat Ryder, the Pentagon press secretary, made no mention of the hospitalization at a news briefing Thursday.
The short statement did not detail what the procedure was or what complications followed the procedure, but it said Austin is “recovering well.” Ryder told CNN that Austin remained in the hospital as of Friday afternoon, but he is expected to resume his full duties later Friday. It’s unclear when he’ll be released from hospital.
Asked why the Pentagon waited four days to notify the public about Austin’s hospitalization, Ryder said, “This has been an evolving situation in which we had to consider a number of other factors” including medical issues and personal privacy issues.
The Pentagon declined to say whether Austin was unconscious at any time during his hospitalization or whether he was ever in critical condition.

The vaccine has saved millions and 300k+ Americans are dead that could have been saved by the vax. How does this make you feel?
I was invited to join in holding the flag before the Saints game today in the Superdome. My sister just came down with covid for the 1st time. We were going to the game together. She wants to do the responsible thing and stay isolated from others. I sure don't want it again. I decided to not make the trip to Louisiana at this time.
This is why you should be banned for life. You go about posting garbage day-to-day on things that didn't happen. She is alive and well. Fully recovered an hour later and was not harmed by getting the vaccine. She didn't die.

Go look up the literature yourself, Mr Science. How is it that the vaccine-produced spike is lingering in some organs many months later and in many “long Covid” cases? I thought it broke down pharmacologically within 24-72 hours and was rapidly cleared from the body. That’s what the CDC told us. That’s what you guys repeatedly said.
