Sometime this weekend I need to get a 26.2 run in for a NYRR virtual event -- doing so gets me a guaranteed entry into next year's NYC Marathon. I'm toying with how to do it, maybe 26 times 1k @ ~8:45 pace, easy jog recovery until the next mile.
This morning I applied for a guaranteed entry into next year's Chicago Marathon. Between Chicago and New York, along with a June half in Chicago and maybe an early May half (local) my event schedule for 2020 is just about set already.
