1. They do random inspections though, so not quite the honor system! Busted me on the S-Bahn last fall on the way to Schoenfeld, since my fare ticket wasn’t valid in that zone. I think it’s a good way to handle fares, especially for buses and streetcars, but would not fly in D.C.
4. Tiergarten is wonderful. Loved running there.
