Hansons training kinda of a joke on some levels

for those who didn't look - he ranks top 25 in the 15k, 10M, and 25k. but take that with a grain of salt. those are distances very rarely run. a lot of guys' splits in marathons would put them on that list so i wouldn't brag too much about it. i think Glenn the original poster meant top 25 in commonly competed events, like the 10k or half-mara or marathon.

Well, let's see, he really didn't make a decision to NOT reenlist. He actually tried to reenlist 1 month prior to his ETS date. Problem is he had to get a General Officer's approval. Result? Disapproval, in a time when everyone else in the army who needed the same type of approval seemed to get it. See, Teddy tells so many lies that he can't seem to keep them straight. He got paid to train for 6 months prior to leaving the Army? Well ok, if that's what you and he called it. He was relieved of his dutys, kicked off the program, sent packing. When any other Non Commissioned Officer get's relieved of duties, they too will get put in meaningless jobs with tasks and responsibilities much lower than their pay grade should be doing. In other words he was doing the job of a entry level unit clerk. Not the job that a Junior NCO should be doing. Some great soldier.

Army Guy in the shadows, I spoke to Teddy Mitchell last night and he can fax you a copy of MG Soriano's letter of approval for his reenlistment, he also has a letter of commendation and ARCOM from the Same 2 Star General for his work with coaching and administrating the Fort Carson Running Team from a LTC Webb, LTC Hendricks, and CSM Potter. You are wrong again.

The Department of the Army (Washington D. C.) stated that in DEC 2002 that SGT Mitchell's MOS was over stocked at the rank of E-5 and he could not reenlist due to the demands of the Army unless he reenlisted as a new MOS, mostly 11B. Teddy wanted to reenlist (5 months after the Barrios issue) to go to Germany and help process deploying soldiers going to Iraq and Afhanistan as he does now with the New Mexico National Guard. He also told me that he will fax you his NCOERs and see if your OERs or any recommendations you have are anywhere near as spectacular. Also, Mitchell can fax you Dr. Vigil's recommendation, LT Dan Browne's recommendation, and Coach John McDonnell's recommendation for his approval in WCAP from earlier in his career. Oh, and the recommendation fro Direct Commission from BG Zanetti, BG Montoya (New Mexico TAG), and SGM Adair!

Too bad you have to still make up stuff that is again completely incorrect. He was not relieved either, he had to check the work for the WCAP detachment that was incomplete including TDY Vouchers and travel requests presented by the 2 LTs and so called SGT Rebenciuc. Too bad you have to still make up things, smart guy. Now can you make up something about conduct unbecoming? He also filed complaints about CPT Goff and SFC Mielke's behavior that resulted in his evaluations being redone by those who were not jealous of his previous accomplishments!

SGT Teddy Mitchell was put into a possition at Fort Carson typically held by a GS 12-14 (Field House Coordinator, and such reflected on his last active duty NCOER), which if you can do math is like an O-3, so again, you are wrong and have not actually done any homework at all, just hearsay that makes you feel better about yourslef. This all comes from my conversation with Mr. Mitchell and he has the files to prove it. Just print your name and your fax number on this site and he will gladly give you a copy, MORON or should I say Sir!

Nice job. If you are in the Army, according to the regulations and writing untruths about a soldier career, you are in violation and can be punished for conduct unbecoming a military Officer. Good Job!

PRs, the program is called an Olympic Development program. If you take 10 people to any training place and have them train together (who are 30:00 10k runners) at 80-90 miles per week consistedntly for 12 weeks, they will all run PRs. Very few will be developed into Olympic Trials Qualifiers. This is all semantics and to a point, just what your definition may be for "Great" or "Good" performances.

WOW, those are pretty tough standards. by your standards, Meb has NEVER been World Class in the marathon. The silver medalist in the Olympics and second at NY is not considered world class? Rethink your stupidity.

Good point. That is the difference with the Hansons program. All of their guys will end up as Olympic Trials Qualifiers.

Hey Teddy, remember the time that you took the lead at the trials and everyone in the front group laughed. One of the qualifiers even said "aren't you guys glad that that is only Teddy and not someone that we have to chase." They were taking bets at which point you would DNF. HA HA HA HA

Pick apart the stats that rule the funding if you don't agree!

Meb was 17th in the World in 2004 in the 10k (IDIOT)

Abdi was 23rd in the World in 2004 in the 10k

The marathon is based on placement in the Olympics and World Champs for rankings not just time (Meb was top 25 in the world by vitue of his Silver Medal, ie USOC top 25-50 in the world STATS)

Kastor was 17th in the World in 2004 in the 10k

Quit wasting time with your shit about who is WC and who is not. I know the rules and the USOC guideline for funding to athletes. The top 25 in the world by USOC and IOC standard are "World Class". In most instances, the top 50 are included to make sure that no one is left out and conditions do not affect the standards of WC. Many people consider the Olympic Standard world class, ie 27:49, 2:18, and 13:21.7, this can be debated, but top 25 in world NOT!

and what happened to those guys? didn't make it to the olympics either, crashed and burned as well, though maybe not as much.

Yeah like the truth being that the General did not recommend him for reenlistment. You were wrong there. The truth. Account for yourself and put your name on it, master true knower! There was no technicality, not even close. Why was he promoted ahead of Wilbur Rebenciuc, and Found who all entered the Army prior to Teddy. HEY TEDDY. It looks like you may have to backtrack on your attitude toward the Hansons training. 9th and 22n in the finest marathon field EVER.

Brian and Clint continued to prove what a little punk Teddy really is. Clint has run 10 marathons faster than Teddy's best. Brian can walk his last 5k and still whip Teddy's ass. I even think that Trent just about equaled Teddy's lifetime pb this year. Trent ran 28:44 this year and everyone knows that he was a one hit wonder (2:12).
