Threads like these encapsulate the emasculation of the runner. Grow a pair and quit worrying about the weather. Sad to see the wimps have taken over the sport.
-As of right now, the rain will be tapering off by about 9-9:30am, 58 degrees.
-It will be dry, partly sunny and around 60 until 1:30-2pm.
-Rain forcast from 2:30-4pm, 65 degrees.
-Back to partly sunny and high 50s from 5-7pm.

Wind? Figures it'll be a tailwind. Some of these guys never run a tough course. CIM, St George, Boston with 2011 conditions.

Wind from 9am-3pm is pretty much coming from the S, maybe slightly SW. 10-15mph
From 3pm on, the wind changes to coming from the SW to almost completely W as it gets to 5pm. Also the speed picks up and increased to 20-25mph around 3pm on.

At 5pm the wind forecast is for sustained winds of 30mph from the West. Isn't that when the RD starts? He could PR.
There's so many forecasts. I read one where it says heavy downpours. The other says it'll be dry. Both were published tonight.

Weather radar show the Northeast getting hammered starting early A.M. tomorrow. The dry prediction is an assumption that an "eye" in the middle for the massive storm will form for a couple of hours.

The weather reports to the east and southeast of Boston are enough to tell you rains are coming. I cannot believe weather dot com is showing clearing in the middle part of tomorrow's race. That is wishful thinking.
Accuweather hourly shows the same thing. One thing's the same as last year. The uncertainty on what to believe and prepare for.
