"I was playing basketball, which was only a one hour a day job, and dabbling in some businesses."
If you can tell from this interview what exactly his business is and what he does for a living, you're more perceptive that I am:
His marketing company is K2 Marketing based out of Columbus. He is great at puffing himself up but there is doesn't appear to be any companies that use him.
FYI, if he so great at marketing, then why couldn't he secure a sponser for his so called 100 marathons in 100 days?

Pizza. I actually have a whole pizza following, because I travel and have so many different varieties.

Agree, some nutters social media, blogs, etc have become the negative side of the sport because it brings out the narcissists and whack jobs and gives them a platform to partake in running fraud to get themselves noticed and/or make a dollar out of running.

maybe, but I think there's more including:
1. He hasn't, at least in the past few years where it could be proven, used his cheating marathon times to get into the sacred marathon of hobby joggers, Boston.
2. If you contributed to his $5600 raised in exchange for some promotional tweets or a "virtual high 5", you're pretty gullible. Yes, he's a fraud. But I seriously doubt anyone who contributed to him did so thinking it was charitable.
3. A few very minor media outlets picked it up as a sort of feel good story, but the ship has sailed. It got no real meaningful media; probably editors at bigger stations could smell a rat.
4. He "finished" his 100 days under the radar before anyone could hold him accountable.

None of his bios say "proud alum of..." or "after playing basketball at..."
His web address just takes you back to his Facebook. For his business, there's no testimonials or examples or names of clients. Everything about him is very vague.
I'm pretty impressed by his (apparently legit) sub 4 hour marathons. I think he's actually a good runner for his size. I'm almost exactly his size and whatever the truth is, I think he's a good runner.
It's all just very vague and odd.
When I fed in all the info available so far Kevin registered 7/10 on my 'Scammers Scaleâ„¢', so well done Kev, but there is room for improvement.

I showed this to a few of my running friends they all had a GOOD laugh, funny that not a single person think that based on how overweight this guy is that he could run a single sub 4 yet 100+ marathons and a 3:05 Marathon PR.
