What a joke..Flotrack now has exclusive broadcasting rights to the NCAA XC Championship

Guys xc loses money every year this is also true at the high school level. Our state has had to raise prices every year. As mad as you guys get here it is not going to change the fact that both parties believe they have found a business agreement that works. Probably to help keeping to sport relevant. We all know streaming is the future of tv. Why not get out in front of it? Also, if you get a flopro membership does that give you access to all their content across a bunch of sports and have access to milesplit? You are not just getting one race you are getting everything for a year if that is the case. I have a milesplit account as a high school coach so someone else would need to confirm for this purchase.

The majority of the very small minority who actually want to tune-in to watch this race are now not going to do so. That makes the sport less relevant. Most of the people who will pay to watch this stream are friends and family of the athletes. This is just a good old fashioned gouge aimed at them.

Brotrack has been a clown show since its inception. I wouldn't pay to watch them stream this if they were charging $1.

Waste of $$$$$$ their coverage sucks, if it was legit I would have no problem paying. However the camera works sucks big time and their announncer staff is a bunch of goons.

I just watched the entire race with commentary for free with no sign up or login. It was a decent feed start to finish. Do your research kids!

If they REALLY wanna make dime, they give you the race for free and charge you $19.99 to mute it.

Are XC and track the only NCAA sports that have a pay wall on their national championships? Putting aside all the conversations about media coverage, etc. for professional races, it just seems like a crime that Flotrack has exclusive rights on these XC championships and if you're not paying the annual fee then you're sinking $12 to watch all these races.

Maybe I should be happy to pay because it "supports" the sport, but it just feels wrong.
