No, it just sounds like you had a more athletic school than me!

I am 18 years of age , my best mile is 4:23, AND I maxed out on bench about 2 months ago or so with 290.... I am still as fast, and now even stronger. My goal is to hit 310 for my next max. Don’t know if this is impressive but I am also a 170 pound cross country/track full time athlete WITH lifting.
I have both broke 4:30 in the mile and benched 300. Breaking 4:30 is harder than benching 300. The work required to break 4:30 required WAY more discipline and consistency than strength did. You start losing stamina within 4 days of not running. While as in strength you do not begin to lose till 3 weeks.
I have stumbled upon this question. And it seems as if meeting a runner who can bench 300 and run under a 5 minute mile at the same time is impossible!?? I am here to be proof that it is not. I am currently an 170 pound cross country and track runner , I run a 4:23 MILE with PROOF if needed, along with proof of me benching 300. Don’t know if I’m a one of a kind athlete or not, but I am also 5’9 and can dunk on a 10 foot rim , with PROOF as well😭. Because many people do not believe me until I show them. Sadly lol. But I am here to say that nothing is impossible. MOTHING
