Any word from Neely about what's next? I am a huge fan having watched in her PA -she was a couple years ahead of me. I have heard them referred as a semi pro team. Probably more accurate them calling them elites. Desi D from what I can see is very independent from the other members at least on youtube videos I've seen.

She and Mickey Davey ran in a charity race 2 summers ago in Harbor Beach , Michigan - and helped at the finish when the rest of us finally arrived - very encouraging and cheerful.

Neely is going to the Olympics and will be the Number One American in whichever events she qualifies for - and it will be more than one.

I have known Neely since she was 4 years old.

She is anything but socially awkward or mentally unstable. I can't imagine her not being popular amongst any other runners, as she has friends far and wide in the running community here in PA. She is both competitive and a great sport, supporting her fellow runners with enthusiasm.

She had other options besides running for her dad at Ship, but decided it was the best option for her. (Just look at what she accomplished athletically at Ship!)

She has struggled with Lyme disease and the many repercussions of that.

She adores her husband and he has been nothing but supportive of her.
