When looking at height you need to match ethnicity and age. 5’8 is is bottom 25% if your not Asian or Hispanic.

What's comical is that you think the average 5'7" guy gets any respect. Sure there are exceptions, but generally, no. 6'7" is not a freak. It's very tall, but not freakish. 5’6” here, never had a problem of “getting women”. It depends on what you’re after. I could get online now and have a hook up before midnight.

5’3” here. I’d love to be 5’7”. Being close to average height makes everything in life more convenient because everything is designed for the average height. Trust me, living at one extreme of the spectrum makes me not want to live at the other extreme.

As for finding women, I’m thankful not growing up in a world where finding a match has moved more online. The height filter would make life miserable for me. That being said, I’m thankful I’m Asian. There are plenty of Asian women shorter than me, and I’ve found Asian women care much less about height than white women.

I guess height probably matters more if you're poor or uneducated or still in high school.

I'm not sure I care about being good at sports. Who honestly plays any of those sports after high school or college?

That's why I asked if the average age on here is 13. All the people that want to be 6'7" are listing stuff that is important to teenagers. "Getting girls" "Having a big dong" "Playing sports"

I'm not 5'7", so I don't really know if it's hard to find a woman when you're that height. But I do have two friends that are 5'8" and they both got laid more than I did in college. Never seemed to be an issue with them.

It depends on what kind of physique a guy packs on his short frame. I remember when I played college football decades ago we had some 5-6 to 5-8 guys who packed on some serious muscle weighing around 185 to 200 lbs. They were bulls in the weightroom and didn't look that short because of the bulk they carried. They got plenty of respect and lots of girls digged these guys. I see the same kind of guys these days in the gyms hitting the weights hard and hanging in there with the big guys.

On the contrary, a 5-6 guy built like a distance runner is going to look very small & feeble. I see some of these dudes at the gym who pop in for a treadmill run cross training. Some of them must be 120 to 130 lbs top. Built just like the little elite distance runners you see from various nations. These guys seem scared & timid at the gym never venturing anywhere near the weights with the big guys. They're definitely not turning any heads from the women either.

You can't control your height -- it is what you're born with. But if you're born on the short side of the stick it's beneficial to pack on some muscle & size and the respect and women will come. ?

I'm 5' 8.5" barefooted and by today's standards definitely on the shorter side of things but it's never stopped me really doing anything, even vain things like getting la*d or attracting attention from the opposite sex. Women will easily take short but lean, toned, smooth, with good head hair over an out of shape 6' plus guy with a bald head.

Of course, I would like to be a bit taller and around the 6' mark but as others have already mentioned, go much over 6' 3" and you start to get into negative territory not just with women in general but also regarding your health and day-to-day practical issues.

I wouldn't want to be shorter but I would take 5' 7" any day over 6' 7"

I'm also 5-8 with a real lean, toned body and lots of hair but the ladies tell me I'm not good looking enough for them or my wallet isn't fat enough. ?

I'm a big fan of Lionel Messi, and a big deal is made of his height with commentators so frequently saying he is only 5'7" or that he is a little man. I'm 6'3" and 5'7" doesn't strike me as very short.

I agree with a lot of what's in this post. There is a 5'5" or 5'6" guy at our gym and he gets tons of chicks. He is basically the MILF hunter. Why? Because he is ripped and has confidence. The guy honestly is a total loser (professionally). He lives in his grandma's basement. Still gets tons of chicks.

If height is the reason you're not getting laid, you're doing a lot of things wrong.

I would tell the same thing to women. Even if a woman is ugly, if she's skinny and fit, she'll still get hit on a lot more often than a fat girl with a beautiful face.
