What? 2 of their 3 guys from Worlds (Koech and Longosiwa) were in the race!

Keep in mind that Mo, Rupp and a KENYAN all broke the previous meet record in the event, which was held by an Ethiopian.
It seems that in some respects this was the best Kenyan portion in the history of the 5000 at PRE.
...ah, last time I checked, Bekele 4 Olympic Golds, Rupp 0
Bekele, Multiple World Track & CC Titles, Rupp-yep, you guessed it: 0
Olympics are still are very long ways away.
It's not gold if it can tarnish.
...p.s. Why in world do the t.v. camera's focus on Salazar after Rupps' races??? Who cares about him, he's had his 'day in the sun!'
Forget the indoor track meet where Rupp ran a fast time. Right after, it was like a V e n t r i l o q u i s t show! Salazar babels and Rupp just stands there mute like a 'crash test dummy!'
Hey, Sal, let the guy talk for himself, geez!
He will talk after London. Let's see how the others talk? I'm going to guess it will look like a deer in the headlights.
Haters gonna hate.
Very true. Rupp has a shot...but he's not probable just based on that performance.

Do you guys even follow the sport? Seriously, do you? Do you know nothing about peaking at the right time, racing into shape and just plain talent?
Where the hell is Malmo when you need him?
Look, clownhats, Bekele is most definitely looking like a medal contender assuming that he stays healthy between now and the games.
Rupp has a very outside shot at a medal. Not zero (and therefore quite impressive). But folks coming on here and proclaiming it PROBABLE that Rupp will get silver have been smoking way too much of that funny stuff.

And last ime I checked, Bekele is turning 30 yrs old in a little over a week. Father time gets all of us in the end, even the great Kenny B. This is his last shot for Olympic gold. Perhaps, that age thing may be affecting him...

Hey-Soos, you are stupid.
Most of these press guys have been around a long time. Behind the scenes they know Salazar, as they have all been around a long time.
Salazar promotes the sport, and he also coaches Farah. So he is of interest to the press. The press of our tiny dwindling sport.
Rupp is a mellow dude who really isn't interested in the fame and attention. He enjoys running and racing, and has the balls to do the training and consistently run to his potential at every step of his evolution.
Enjoy the athletes and their accomplishments.

Bekele has 3 golds as El G beat him in '04 in the 5000m
