Cooper looks like a grown up.
These days they are getting cyclists on the peptides early, to boost their development before they are elite and in the testing pool. This is pretty well-known as some kids have talked.
I don't know if this has spread to track yet, but I want to think the kid is clean!
balls!, just balls. Coop held them off at the bell. Holy crap!!
Insane confidence from Cooper to go to the front at 500m and then actually hold it. Wanyoni might not have much longer at the top of the 800m
I was as nervous watching that as if I was his freakin mother!
That was so awesome!

Super impressive, and that's without considering his age!

He is only getting started and has already made full circle. Now people will be studying his race videos to learn tactics.
I figured the 800 would go a little faster, or be a little more dramatic. This was the formulaic 2026 Coop indoor 800, and it absolutely worked to his benefit. Wish Hoey had managed to stay healthy. Outdoor should be interesting.
No words. Just brilliant racing. This is how Cole should race.
Youngest indoor individual medalist eva!! And it's GOLD!!

Yup. Don't think anyone was sitting down watching that 800.

Attaoui has awful tactics. Completely screwed himself.
He and Hocker should go for a beer.
It’s quite funny how the US has had three different champions in the last three straight editions of this championship

Men's 800m final
A star is born.
Cooper Lutkenhaus hits the front on the final lap and has the legs to keep ahead of the experienced field.
Belgium's Eliott Crestan takes silver, with bronze going to Mohamed Attaoui of Spain.
Kudos to his coach.
Elegant touch….
Just let him run!

Cooper…
I hate him so much that this is not even funny.
We know. People have pointed that out in other threads.
Jeeeeeez Coop don’t hurt ‘em
I don't know how the world rankings work, but I doubt he'll be #26 for too much longer.
