Lyles supporter here. Agree with those that say Kenny went out of his way to push Noah. This is very obvious in the video, and Noah wasn't impeding Kenny. I'm perplexed why people don't see this.
Noah's stare down was a flex as he beat Kenny. So many sprinters do this, and even more common in other sports. Kenny lost fair and square, and has to deal with it instead of shoving his opponents.
If anyone watched Sprint, there is a scene after the Paris 100m final of Bednerek where he says whilst crying, "I'm tired of losing". Being the guy who comes second or off the podium cuts deep with Bednerek. Obviously Noah was the guy who won that race.
Very surprised by all of the Lyles hate on these forum, aren't most of you American? The guy is literally the best sprinter since Bolt, is very charismatic and a showman competitor, very consistent and often backs up his talk with results. And get used to it, because the kid who will replace him eventually isn't going to be some white middle distance runner. It is likely going to be Gout Gout if he maintains his current trajectory, and he is already talking bigger game than Lyles ever did at the age of 17.
Noah's "taunting" was less than classy and poor sportsmanship. But Kenny took it over the line hands on another competition, sore lower and loss of control.

My view as well. Noah taunted and talked some stuff but Kenny B gave him a solid shove right after the finish before Noah had his legs under him. Could have knocked him to the track which could have had serious consequences.
Lyles is and always has been an immature jerk and crybaby disdained by his competitors. Bednarek on the other hand is a classy guy respected by the sprinting fraternity. No surprise that nbc patronizes Lyle, its poster boy and cash cow for Tokyo.

He should have faked a fall and called his wheelchair guy over!
I decided to watch the men’s 4 by 100 relay in Paris again earlier this evening. I think it was Ato noted that Kenny wasn’t a regular on the relay. Makes you wonder if with this drama and the mishap last year if he even gets on the relay team this year, even as US 100m champ.
Also, shout out to Canada again. What a race from them and it’s nice to see teams that take the event seriously reap the rewards.
Lyles obviously has been trying to elevate the sport with his personality and “style,” but it should to be organic and not forced. Grant Holloway is a guy who’s fun and elite without being over the top.
Now, with the track spice backstory - it gives the confrontation a whole different complexion.
