I know it’s early but who will win and qualify for NXN next year as a team and individuals?
Elizabeth Leachman will not only win NXN she will break Jane Hedengren's course record.
If you're surprised by that prediction remember that Leachman is already the fastest 5k high school girl in history on the track both indoors and outdoors, and she only missed the 24 year old Foot Locker course record by 11 seconds last year when she was just a sophomore.
She didn’t run track all season, so I don’t see her breaking the course record. To win NXN she will need to have a great summer

That prediction was from a long time ago. The NXN course record isn't happening. Just to win NXN after an extended layoff would be a tremendous accomplishment.
Yes - Rogers has Samantha who ran a 5:02 at RunningLane, and Kayla who has ran a 5:00. They did not run the 3200m. It looks like they were focused on the 1600m and 800m. They might have the best top 6 in the country on the track. We’ll see if it translates to XC.

She has a good chance to be the first person to three-peat at Footlocker nationals. Katelyn Tuohy has done that at NXN, but nobody has done that at Footlocker

You can see their 1600 times from 2024 leading into their xc campaign. Gives you an idea of what to expect.

it typically doesn't fully translate to XC... just recently Cuthbertson (NC) had a 4:33 girl, a 4:43 girl, a 4:44 girl and two 4:49 girls and they couldn't put it together.. did place 8th in 2022. I would love more at 3200m times and then of course, previous XC performances.

I agree, but as a previously poster mentioned their top 4 - 3200 times this year are VERY good, 10:02-11:01. Think it will be different for Rogers this year, if they stay healthy!
She's a 9th grader, how crazy is that. She and Evangeline Williams of Trabuco Hills HS in SoCal are 2 upcoming sophomores to keep an eye on.
Don't forget about upcoming sophomore Natasza Dudek, who has run 10:03 and whose older sister won Foot Locker in 2019.
Dudek pulled out of Brooks PR after losing the state meet to Helen Sachs. Top underclassman today was Rodriguez, then Ritzenhein, Calista Garmer and Sirois.

Dudek still has a faster 3200 PR than Rodriguez, and Dudek has been improving rapidly. Give Dudek another 6 months and she will be in contention for the podium at NXN.
