Huge for Gressier, did anyone see that coming? Great time for Katir, although not a surprise given his 1500 times and that great 5k he won earlier this year. Teare can't be happy with this. I thought sub-13 would be a stretch, but Ky Robinson ran 13:20 in his DL debut a few weeks ago.

what kind of pace will these guys try push at worlds? you saw what happened to Kiplimo as a result of going for a big time. its a huge risk.

It worked for him the race before though…Gonna be interesting, the risk is high but if it’s slow you give the race to Katir, Jakob, Hagos, Cheptegei, Kejelcha and Krop in all likelihood. That’s if you’re Aregawi/Kiplimo.
