What I think is interesting is that even if Zach has seen this thread, most of his social media followers have not. He posted a photo on Instagram recently and a YouTube video last week. Around 90% of the comments have nothing to do with the scandal that's being identified in this thread. I don't believe that anything will happen until his following, mostly non-runners at this point, pick up wind of what their leader has gotten involved with.

This. He has a very dedicated fanbase that say they would support him no matter what. I wonder if they will now.

Slightly unrelated to the copyright discussion, but I doubt you will see that success. In all likelihood, Zach had one good month and extrapolated it to an annual amount even though his actual revenue will be nowhere close. You need to remember that as a blogger he is "lifestyle influencer," his influence (and actual success) is very dependent on the view thinking he is successful. There is no incentive for Zach to tell the truth about a failed on unfulfilling venture unless it's so blatantly obvious that lying about it would make him look bad to his subscribers.
Zach if you are reading this now is the time to enroll in community college and get a degree in a STEM field. It's nice to dream, you dreamed very bigly, but your dream failed, no one is going to follow you anymore after they hear about how you scammed hundreds of people. When you started this crazy journey there was hope for you to become a professional runner but you have showed time and time again that you are not dedicated to the sport or yourself. Go to community college or some sort of trade school while you are still young.

Even if his fans knew about this, they wouldn't care. Today I found another fake embroidery company on Instagram. They're selling dollar store quality clothes for $60 each because they embroidered Nike on it in a "fancy" pattern. Ask the people that bought it why they're spending more money on something fake and they'll just say "it looks nice".
In fact, I'd say that his fans are the same type of people that would buy this. Levet's running "career" is all optics, he'd be a midpacker in any semi competitive conference if he hadn't dropped out. But he acts like he's successful, just like how these fake embroidery stores act like they're prestigious. They market their stuff as "custom" and "premium", not as "cheap knockoffs".
Honestly, with these kinds of profit margins I can see why Levet does this. $60 per sweatshirt would be $45 profit, including shipping. Just market to enough suburban high school girls and you'll be making $$$$$ in no time. If only I didn't have morals.......

I doubt the big company is going to come down on him. At least LRC readers know the truth and he's out of business. I still hope he gets squahsed but it doesn't looklike that's going to happen. At least he's out of business though.

If I was Nike, it’d be a no-brainer to take Levet down. Nike has supported Levet in different ways with sending him gear, inviting him to events, etc. Now it seems that he’s going to announce some kind of deal with Hoka. If he hadn’t been caught, he would’ve kept taking advantage of Nike by selling counterfeit crewnecks while repping Hoka. Why should Nike let that slide?

And yes, he has definitely been deleting comments on all social media platforms. Some are still sliding through the cracks though.

also despite how nike is as a company he is still ripping off an everyday joe. many probably know its not a legit nike hoodie but some will think it is legit and be ripped off. the 100k or whatever the figure is to nike isnt significant but 60 bucks to a person who works a low income job can be a real hit in the short term
