We have a new 2024 vaccine thread here. New people don't need to try to wade through 20,000 posts to figure out what is going on.
I know lots of people....strangely I met not one person under 60 who "died of covid" not a single one. I definetly know 2 people that had strokes at 29 only 2 months after vaccination. I have previously never met anyone in my life under the age of 50 that had a stroke.
So you can run all the data you want and say "duur conservatard n=1" fact is I know what i've seen and that data cannot be manipulated.
I will trust my life experience on observation skills rather than some spreadsheet with a bunch of convoluted math.
Whenever someone starts showing me lots of math on something that's not mechanical engineering i'm inclined to dismiss it out of hand. And most of the time I turn out to be right.
Just like all the great math that said adjustable rate mortgages were good and we were not going to have inflation. Sure glad i dismissed those "smart math people".
Uhhh… admitting you tune out when the math gets complicated is not the “I am very smart” moment you think it is.
Props for the intellectual humility though! Smart to leave the quantitative thinking to the big boys.
Anything above algebra (mechanical engineering) is too scary for these folks.
