Critiquing WG’s trans-con or Oz runs? Fair enough, scrutiny comes with the territory. But the level of obsession you’ve shown is staggering, and if you could only assess void of your own involvement.
You’ve bragged about digging through Companies House, launching government petitions, and more. If this fixation were directed at a woman, people would rightly call it harassment. It’s surreal how much time - and money, judging by your trans-US efforts - you’ve poured into shadowing someone you don’t even know. That energy would be far better spent on your kids. You're running the real risk that years of your children’s lives are now being measured against where WG happened to be in his. Those trans-runs are yesterday’s fish-and-chip paper. Yet here you are, post after post, poring over data points and venomously tearing down other-people who you also do not know, paid or not, who as far as most people can see - are just out having an adventure worth sharing.
Yes, there are faster athletes and bigger achievements. But dismissing runners—six of whom are sub-3 marathon calibre - as “not impressive” reeks of elitism.
I can only implore you: move on. Life’s too big, too rich, to waste on this obsession.
Nice to hear from you, Goodge
