I think we've pretty much done this one to death now...the outcomes are as follows:

1. There is no verifiable evidence that Amy ran 53 marathons in 53 days.

2. There is no verifiable evidence that Amy ran 521 miles on a treadmill in 7 days.

3. We all loved Amy's 'Mud Run' video.

4. In absence of any other known work the only source of income identified for Amy is through her 'charity'.

5. Looking at all known race results from Amy there is nothing to suggest that she is capable of running a WR.

6. Amy still claims the she holds the Official Guinness World Record on her website.

7. Amy likes to post lots of selfies.

8. Her supporters will blindly believe all she says and brand any decentre 'a hater'.

9. Amy looks too healthy to be a multi-day ultra marathon world record holder.

So Amy Hughes has announced her next running event. And it looks to be a sponsored running vacation on warm paradise islands with her running 400 miles over 14 days, or about 28 miles per day. What kinds of fools are paying her for this after her past lies? Looks like there probably won't be any Strava uploads going by what she says about this not being about times or records.

So...I am ridiculously excited to announce my next challenge!! It's something that's been on my mind since last year!! And although it's been something I have been wanting to do for a long time now it's been hard trying to plan it with different things that have happened this year and starting news jobs etc. But last night I got the go ahead so it's full steam ahead.
I will be running 400 miles across and around all four of the Balearic Islands! Starting at the bottom of Fortamentera to the top, around Ibiza, across Mallorca and around Minorca. I think the reason I am so excited about this challenge is because I have started thinking more about why I originally started running-I started running to feel good, to have time to think, to enjoy running and the places and the scenery I was running in and to inspire others to get outside. So this time I am running not for times or records, I am running to enjoy the beautiful scenery, to have fun, to explore places I have never been before and to get you guys involved. This will be the first time I have done something without a constant team around me. I am so lucky to have such wonderful people around me that always help and support me! But this time it will be down to me-and in equal measures I am excited and nervous! Its a whole different kind of challenge. But those of you that know me, know that, that's what I thrive off! So I'll be setting off on the 30th of October until the 14th of October. More details will be coming your way in regards to routes, distances, sponsors etc! But if you want to get involved in some way just shoot me a message! You know my saying-the more the merrier! Thanks for always having my back guys. I love you xx

Most impressive if this upcoming fete is she is starting Oct 30 and ending Oct 14. She will literally be going back in time people. Outside of a phone booth, delorian or hot tub has this ever been done before?

Aaah this will be great. These Islands are full of runners and bikers who can check on her. Let's hope her tracker works too so we can follow her next world record here in the US.

I can't help wondering what she will claim after the vacation is over. She craves attention so I expect the script will be something like this:

"Gosh gee, it turns out there is a record for running round the islands and guess what??? I broke it !!!! Yes I'm now the world record holder for running round the islands. I'm famous !!!! Mothers are naming their babies after me !!!! Please send me money so I can send them all christening presents."

Wow, I can't actually believe that anyone would actually sponsor her to have a jolly vacation run / walking around Balearics. It beggars belief. No doubt she'll be claiming some sort of world record yet they'll be no Strava or run data to support her claims.

She has not once mentioned training on her very active social media so it's obvious she's not in condition to run 400 miles in 14 days but so what? If people want to idolize her for claiming to run but providing no evidence of it then that's their problem.

Claiming 2 world records is claiming to be the best. Even if it's the best at something most people have no interest in attempting
