You realize we have had vaccine mandates for health care works and school teachers for decades?
You would be ok with unvaccinated nurses being around newborns? Potentially exposing them to a variety of diseases before they could gain immunity through vaccination? Just to score political points?

It’s extremely unethical for pharmacists to recommend therapies that do nothing against the disease - I doubt fastboy77 is that kind of person.

What I laugh at these days is your crowd and your feeble attempt to scare the public. I guess we are in the middle of a Covid "surge" or "spike". Send out a search party to find anybody who is worried about it. Kids at the local playground are playing basketball. Hoops are still attached to backboards as of this morning.
My wife is feeling fine and at this moment she is unmasked and shopping at Costco.

Mandates for vaccines with better track records for which there is at least some form of safety net if you experience an adverse reaction. For COVID shots, the process was rushed. On a per dose basis, they had more adverse events than any vaccine ever approved. The safety net was completely broken. Hindsight being 20/20, the J and J vaccine probably never should have been approved. For healthy young adults, I am still yet to see a convincing argument that the vaccine provided much benefit. The choice about whether or not to vaccinate should have been based in risk vs reward analysis based on scientific data, unfortunately, there was a concerted effort to suppress data, and the data collection in this country was terrible.

Per dose the COVID-19 mRNA vaccines were no worse than, say, the shingles vaccine. Are you just making stuff up?

Yup, this is classic: for those people who we magically knew were not going to be harmed by COVID the vaccines werent necessary - implying there was some a priori way to know this pre-infection. Please share your time machine, Joe?
Because of this inane impossibility the vaccine had strong net positive outcomes for all populations.
