Just like in post #5, and often later, one can apparently say that he is 'delusional'.
However, I had a post deleted two days ago, for saying that he is unlikely to have run 14:xx nor a coach, based on the fact that as a sometime 15:21 5km myself, and three years older, at a base of fitness I am able to run an easy 5km under 5min/km any time I wish. Even after a period where I had a back injury (herniated disk), microdiscectomy, recovery...my first 5km was under 25min.
My simple request was that, especially, after more than 5 months, he still hasn't posted a timed run over 5km, the easiest thing to do in order to gauge level of fitness. Over 1200 posts of back and forth over threshold, speed, steady training etc, when a person of that 'pedigree' (once) should be able to run sub 25 (at the least) at any time.
ps...this is not verbatim an exact copy of deleted post, but the same gist. Reasons given (now removed) was that I attacked/harrassed. All I am doing is asking for proof of pedigree and/or current shape. No descriptions like 'delusional'.
cheers
Still no reason why my earlier post with exactly the above was deleted. Last I saw it was "being evaluated by moderators".
Yet, numerous posts that criticise JS directly with name calling.
And LRC expects to get taken seriously. The reason they protect him is that it is a troll type thread that gives them a lot of clicks.
The AI moderation is a work in progress but still useful.
I know any publicity is good publicity, but I think Jan has reached a point where you search him out, it's almost all negative. The final lol moment for me was following the NSM thread and seeing him "forget" to log out of his main account and reply to himself, as if he was someone else. You have to have a strange mind to do something like that, let alone be caught out so hilariously and foolishly!
Back to the real purpose with this thread. A new weeks training started with 60 min easy outside on the forest roads alongside the Trollhätte channel . Nice nature for the soul...
Tomorrow a fast maxVO2 interval again.I plan to run it the fastest I have done so far in my comeback journey. 🧙♂️
Woow! Just great feeling at todays faster maxVO2 intervall ...... 20 x 45 sec ( last 2 reps 1 min) @ pace 4:05 min/ km , easy walkrest around 60 sec back to 120bpm. So,so good feeling and great controll and light breathing. Could have done atleast 5 more if that was the goal. Great day ! I'm happy ! 😎😃🧙♂️🖐

That's not a VO2 max session. Those are glorified strides.

Can you elaborate on why the heart rate needs to be at 120 bpm before starting the next interval? It makes no sense for two runners with different HR max.
His agent mentions that Jakob possibly could make a comeback at one of these races if everything continues to go well. 10. juli, Diamond League i Monaco 14. juli, Hungarian Athletics Grand Prix i Budapest 18. juli, Diamond League i London

I can answer that one, a German scientist back in the mid twentieth century worked out for their elite athletes that 120bpm was the average heart rate for their zone 1. Therefore you were fully recovered to start the next rep, this could 30 seconds or 300 seconds into the recovery interval.
Jan has decided the 120bpm is a magic number, instead of understanding the principle behind it being your own zone 1, this could be stop on or like Max heart calculation which +/- 10 bpm from that number.

Ladies and gentleman, place your bets ;-)
If my training goes so smooth as now I think " the buns in the oven " are ready to take out in August to attack sub 20 min at the track or if I find a good flat 5 k road race then . So probably Jakob will be first to race.. 😉😎
