could we make a WhatsApp group/arrange a weekly update Google call for those interested in staying involved? This should help with validity of whose posting and perhaps move this away from the letsrun platform. Those who want to join have to formally introduce themself and show ID perhaps to ensure those supporting Goodge aren’t involved. Grayson Hart, Peter John, Elliot Clements etc etc. All melts anyway. Self obssessed and think the worlds revolves around them. Like Goodge. None of you are famous. Influencers aren’t famous. Your cash chows for brands lol
I’m not especially invested in the transcon record itself — whoever holds it doesn’t affect my life. What I do care about is seeing the morally bankrupt Goodge and his smug, self-adoring grin pop up constantly in my social feeds. Whether he cheated will likely never be proven — not while he refuses to cooperate with any serious investigation. But what can be done is to make sure the stench of doubt and his shamelessly fraudulent claims stick to him wherever he goes. If that means sponsors won’t touch him with a six-foot pole and he fades into the irrelevance he deserves, all the better. I just want to stop seeing that face.
This is an interesting video from Represent as it illustrates precisely how important Goodge's transcon runs have been in launching Represent as a global brand.
Towards the end of the video Goodge says that he is planning to enter more 200 mile races, where he believes he can podium. I presuming he means trail races where he thinks he can get away with cheating.
It's interesting to note that all Goodge's grand projects have been on road. He's run the length of Britain, USA, Australia and 48 marathons in 30 days. His running history shows that he's far more of a road runner than trail, so you would normally expect him to be more likely to excell in 48 hour or 6 days races on flat road or track, rather than trail.
The obvious difference is that you can't cheat races on a course with a short lap.
He has also indicated thar he has a project in Iceland later in the year.
Sorry but I've skipped over the previous messages but does anyone know what's with the inconsistencies in his elevation on Strava (for context it is like a staircase). I wasn't sure if it was just the distance but Brockmans looks smooth from his run when he did it a couple of years ago
Sneakers is correct some of you really can't get decent data - try mapstogpxDOTcom with a slash strava on the end. then just learn extract whatever you need in whatever language. copilot will even write the code for you.
Goodge - dirty cheat, my guess is beta blockers and large doses of prednisone

Beats me why Cockerell and his merry men don't just accuse Goodge of the obvious PED use instead of going through this multi-year, multi-national ordeal of creating convoluted conspiracy theories about how he must be riding in the RV when none of the high resolution data shows that. Guess it's because everyone in ultra-running is taking PEDs so they would just be outing themselves if they accuse Goodge.

I can't believe I agree with you. 100% Goodge is on PEDs, look at the pics comparing him today to a few years ago. It aint natural. And with all that supposed running, there's only one way he can maintain his physique.
Where I disagree is that I think he is a two way cheat - PEDs and not running the whole amount. He's a fraud every way you look.
Nobody cares if he's on PEDs as long as he runs the whole way. But the issue is that he's not running the whole way.
There's that and the fact that: 1. Peds that increase endurance don't work unless you train a lot, and this man, by his own admission, does not do a lot of training; 2. There is no PED in existence that can cause your heart rate to drop by 40 beats per minute at a given pace/effort. That's just not how these things work; 3. Why has he never used this miracle drug regimen to actually win something?; and 4. Why does he seem to be the only one with access to these drugs?

Would goodge's team have had a way of getting pinged whenever someone logs onto the tracker to check where he is? Thus giving him time to stop whatever method of cheating he is doing and get back on the road??
Also he could have spotters that are unknown to us/the camera that follows behind/ahead and alerts the team to cars/people approaching

Grayson the original founder of Puresport? Was forced to step down from ownership duties last year because he cheated on his wife, had a threesome with Danny Cipriani (ex pro rugby player) and it was bad for company image.

The PEDs are a given - loads of those Ampthill rugby boys (and semi-pro rugby players in general) were smashing PEDs. Club / School boy rugby was / is riddled with it, and this phenomenon exists whereever rugby is seriously played. Ironically, you see less PED use at the pro level.
But it's an entire lifestyle that dies around age 23/24, and then it's onto the social media grift and the 'modelling' for the prettier & more narcissistic amongst them.
The go to seems to be to find a niche sport that you can look pretty doing, then be somewhat non-committal about your goals as an athlete.
What I find baffling is how many people can't spot a narcissist a mile away. For many people it takes seconds and may as well be sign-posted in flourescent pink. Others seem to be completely blind to it - god help them.

Rich Roll is the patron saint of grifters. It's remarkable how accessible he was for the AUS TV interview. His "expert opinion" is no longer "tech fail" but more along the lines of "Goodge is just different and runners are jealous". I would not be shocked to learn that Rich Roll had a hand in creating Goodge. Full disclosure : I'm no Rich Roll fan.
